Nothing can beat the feeling of ordering something that has been created especially for you and cannot be replicated. Through my one-to-one design service I can work with you to create pieces that are completely unique to you based solely on your ideas, interests or the expectations of your event whilst achieving breathtaking results each and every time. Ordering a bespoke design service couldn’t be easier.
We welcome you sourcing your own stationery to write on but please note this will need to be tested for suitability. Please send us a sample of your material for us to write on and return to you. We recommend using non coated paper or card where possible as some coated materials will not take the ink. Pearlescent card and handmade papers are particularly difficult – though not to say impossible.
Please also bear in mind that we will require 10-15% spares (on applicable items such as invitations, place cards etc) as sometimes unavoidable mistakes such as ink bleeding or the nib catching on the material happens. This also covers last minute additions to your guest list.
Discuss and Brief
At this point in your planning you should have a good idea of what you want, or a pretty good idea of what you don’t want. If your order is wedding or event related it is important that at this stage you let me know what your budget is.
When you’re happy that Kalli Weddings are the calligraphers you want to commission, place your order at your earliest convenience to ensure we have sufficient design space to undertake your order. Our bespoke design service costs just £50.00, which is payable at the time of ordering. Once we have received your payment we can book in your design slot and begin to work on your items. For weddings and events you should confirm the stationery items you require, i.e invitations and place cards along with an estimated quantity for each.
Design & Proofs
Hurrah! Your order for a bespoke design service has been placed and we will now be beavering away creating some design proofs for you. Revisions of the design are included within your price. A quotation and details of the proposed materials to be used will be sent to you with your proofs. Once you’ve reached this point a final proof will be sent to you. If you’re happy with this you will need to approve the proof.
Confirmation & Payment
Now you have approved your design an official order will be raised. For most corporate commissions a final piece will be created and will be submitted along with an invoice. Payment terms will be stated on your invoice.
For most other items you will now need to confirm definite quantities for each item (where necessary) and an invoice can then be sent to you. Once this has been paid a timescale will be given to you detailing the information you need to provide for your items and by when, along with a delivery date. Congratulations! Your items are now being produced! Please note any changes made to your items at this stage will incur extra charges.
Delivery will be made to you on the date previously agreed. All of our deliveries are handled by Royal Mail Special Delivery or a courier if more suitable. A signature will be required on delivery. If delivering to an address is more convenient to you please let us know in good time and we will be happy to deliver to an alternative address.

Place cards (we supply): £1.70 per card for first name and surname

Luggage tags: £1.20 per tag
Escort cards: £2.50 per card
Table plans: £1.50 per guest name, £3.00 per header or footer
Quotations/sayings from £25.00 each
Signs from £15.00 each

Poems, vows or readings: 95p per word, £10 per illuminated letter or illustration
